First interview

Hello everybody!

Yes Sir! The title of the post is absolutely right. Today I've had my first interview. It wasn't in a IT company, but less is nothing. It was in a restaurant, not an ordinary restaurant. It was a restaurant named Oblix -I don't know if it is famous-, which is placed in the 32nd floor of the Shard,  a skyscraper  located in the same London Bridge. I think that I've never been so high, and I must say that, from up there, the view is awesome. You can see the whole city. The first time that I've seen the Big Ben since I arrived is from those windows -and the first time that I see London Eye, because it didn't exist yet-.

But no only the view nor the situation make the restaurant a place out of the ordinary, at less for me, the vacancy which i was applying was the key. I was applying to neither a bartender nor waiter position. Neither was to kitchen porter position. Neither was to chef -Nobody wants a kitchen burned-, nor sumiller -I've never opened a bottle the wine-, nor maƮtre -I would be the first one who never was waiter-, of Course not. The job which I was applying was "bathroom attendant". Yes. I guess that the name says everything, but if not, I explain you with pleasure.

A bathroom attendant is that who, probably all of you, had seen on many films. Is a person who stand in the bathroom, attending the customers when they go to the toilet, supporting in all they needed. Usually the bathrooms, in the films, which have this kind of service, are bathrooms placed in luxury restaurants, or hotels. I would hate sound racist, but the image which come to my mind is a black man, in the 20's, providing towels to the customers, probably cologne too. When the customers go out, and this is not showed in the films, because the bathroom attendant never is the star -this pleasure is reserved for the customers, not for the service, with the exception of some and privileged butlers, or chefs-, the polite and servicial worker must have clean and tidy the bathroom, also he have to replenish the soap and the paper roll, as well as to empty the bins.

Finishing, I'd like to apologize for my absence yesterday. I want to write a post everyday and I want to obey me to it. I know that you, if there is someone who reads it, don't care if a update or not. This site isn't very interesting, I know too, but whatever I'd like to commit to updating this blog at least one time each day, and if I fail doing it, I will apologize. I'll apologize to you and to myself.
